Steven G. Heslinga, CFP ®, CIMA ®, is a Managing Director – Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors. He is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and a Certified Investment Management Analyst ®. Steve has worked in the Hyannis office since he began his career in 1982. Much of his work involves the fee-based* management of conservative stock and bond portfolios with long-term growth and income as the objective. He believes that long-term client relationships are crucial to achieving successful investment results.

In August of 2012, Steve was awarded the Wells Fargo Advisors Spirit Award during a ceremony in New York City. This award represents the firm’s highest honor and recognizes a select group of Premier Advisors** for their lifetime achievements, both personal and professional. Jim Hayes, President of the Private Client Group of Wells Fargo Advisors said, “We are proud that Steve Heslinga is part of Wells Fargo Advisors. His professional and personal attributes serve as an example for all and we are delighted to count him as a recipient of the Wells Fargo Advisors Spirit Award.”

Steve holds his Series 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 securities registrations. He has both undergraduate and graduate degrees with honors from Harvard University and has completed the Investment Management Analyst Program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives with his wife Lynn in Barnstable Village and enjoys boating and relaxing on Sandy Neck Beach with Lynn and Daisy, the family dog. Since Lynn has been a beekeeper for years, Steve is passionate about supporting her hobby – always from a safe distance!

Albert M. Tate, Jr., AAMS ®, CMFC ® is a Senior Vice President – Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors, who has worked with Mr. Heslinga’s since 1990. He is both an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM and a Chartered Mutual Fund CounselorSM. Al has over 25 years of experience in the industry, focusing on the analysis and selection of fixed income investments, mutual funds, asset allocation and conservative growth stocks for clients.

Al holds Series 7, 52, 63 and 65 securities registrations and is a 1980 graduate of Westfield State College with a major in Economics and Business Administration. He lives in Barnstable with his wife Nancy and two daughters. In his leisure time, Al enjoys photography and his daily weekday run (4.5 miles a day)!

William L. Leone is a Financial Consultant with Wells Fargo Advisors. Additionally, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ professional and holds a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation.  Bill began his financial services career as a Financial Consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. He focuses on customized portfolio design utilizing conservative equity and fixed income investments, as well as the selection of private money managers when appropriate.

Bill holds Series 7 and 63 securities registrations and has earned a Business degree from Boston University. He lives in Weymouth with his family and is active with the local MSPCA. Bill has enjoyed playing golf for 20 years, but is still chasing the elusive hole-in-one. As a result, he’s given up the golf game and turned to skiing the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado.

Steven W. Heslinga is a Vice President - Investment Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors. Steve has been working with Wells Fargo and its affiliates since 2008. He spent the first six years of his career in Charlotte, North Carolina working with institutional clients while in the Mergers and Acquisitions group and, more recently, the High Yield Trading group. His current efforts are concentrated on new business development, portfolio design and investment planning for affluent individuals, families and small to mid-sized businesses.

Steve holds Series 7, 63 and 66 securities registrations. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University with dual degrees in Economics and German, both with honors. Steve currently owns a home in Centerville. When he’s not watching a talented New England sports team win (we hope!), he enjoys relaxing on one of the Cape’s many fantastic beaches, hitting the gym or going for a run.



Elaine G MillerElaine G. Miller
Senior Client Associate

Elaine Miller is a Senior Client Associate who joined Wells Fargo Advisors in April of 2006, bringing a strong customer service and operations background. Prior to coming to Wells Fargo Advisors, she worked for AT&T as a Technical Manager for 24 years. There she implemented technology upgrades, managed data center operations and coordinated network contracts with third-party vendors.

Elaine is the Heslinga & Tate Group practice manager. In that role she reports directly to Steve Heslinga and is responsible for overseeing operational workflow and client interactions for the entire staff.

Elaine graduated from Endicott College with an Associate of Science degree and moved to Cape Cod after living for many years in West Orange, NJ. Currently, she lives in Sandwich Village with her husband Howie, where she enjoys swimming, cooking and reading. She expresses a great love of animals (especially dogs), as well as getting her hands dirty planting flowers in her garden.



Shawna R LockleyShawna R. Lockley
Registered Client Associate

Shawna Lockley is a Registered Client Associate who has been with Wells Fargo Advisors since 2011. Her previous experience includes 6 years as a Financial Advisor with a small brokerage firm on Martha’s Vineyard, focusing on retirement and financial planning. In addition, she worked for 10 years in Community Banking managing all aspects of a retail banking environment.

As a Registered Client Associate, the emphasis is on client service and operations; however, Shawna is also responsible for the coordination and supervision of special projects with a focus on streamlining processes to increase productivity.

Shawna currently holds her Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and insurance licenses. She and her husband Jonathan live in Yarmouth Port and enjoy taking long rides on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  Shawna holds the bragging rights for the best bowling score of the Heslinga & Tate Group of Wells Fargo Advisors at 230 points!



Debbie FeestDebbie Feest
Registered Client Associate

Debbie Feest is a Registered Client Associate with Wells Fargo Advisors. She has over 28 years’ experience in the financial services industry while working with Prudential Securities, Brimmer Financial and Morgan Stanley.

Debbie’s role within our group, in addition to client service and operational activities, includes involvement in expanding our web presence and other marketing activities.

Debbie currently holds Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 securities registrations, and insurance licenses. She is a Cape Cod native and resides in Harwich with her two sons, Tyler and Matthew. In her free time, she manages The Kiah Foundation, which she founded. The Foundation collects and delivers food and supplies to organizations and animal shelters. On one occasion, she adopted a kitten during her lunch break and tried to hide the kitten under her desk….until it starting meowing! Debbie also enjoys figure skating and horseback riding.
